About Hair Extensions

Stock hair extensions are the “off the shelf” version of our wigs and hair replacement solutions. They are pre-made and ready to ship as soon as they are purchased. Custom extensions are made to order, while replicated extensions are designed to match or replicate existing systems. Custom and replicated hair extensions can sometimes be the same, but neither can be made from stock extensions.

Clip-in hair extensions: These extensions feature hair attached to a base weft with clips already sewn in, allowing wearers to easily put them on and take them off without causing any damage.

Sew-in hair extensions: Also known as “weave hair,” these extensions involve braiding the natural hair into cornrows, then sewing the weave onto the braids using a needle and thread. Due to this method, sew-in extensions are best suited for individuals with thick hair.

Fusion hair extensions: Also called “pre-bonded hair extensions,” these are attached to natural hair using adhesives that fuse the extensions securely in place.

Tape-in hair extensions: These extensions are applied by adhering pre-taped roots directly to your natural hair using strong adhesives.

The lifespan of human hair extensions and wigs varies based on several factors, including how well they are maintained, and how often they are worn. Clip-in hair extensions: 3 to 6 months Tape-in hair extensions: re-taped in 4–8 weeks and can be reused up to 3 times. Wigs: 6 months - 1 year Tips for Extending the Lifespan of Wigs and Extensions: Use Gentle Products: Use sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners specifically designed for human hair wigs and extensions. Minimize Heat Styling: Excessive use of heat tools can damage the hair, so it's best to limit their use and always apply a heat protectant. Regular Maintenance: Regularly brush and detangle the hair and follow specific care instructions. Proper Storage: Store wigs and extensions in a cool, dry place, ideally on a stand or in a storage bag, to maintain their shape and prevent tangling. All our extensions are 100% Human Hair, which means that you can style them as you would your own hair. That being said, since they lack the nourishment from the scalp unlike your own hair, it is important to use sulfate-free shampoos and deep conditioners and hair masks to keep them soft and silky. If you use hot tools, such as a blow dryer, a curling iron, or a hair straightener, be sure to apply heat protectants beforehand to make sure that no damage is done to the extensions.
All our extensions are 100% Human hair, which means they can be styled just like your own hair with any hot tools. But like with any human hair, too much heat can dry it out, so we recommend using a heat protectant prior to any heat styling and trying to use the devices on a minimum to medium heat level. Kindly note that using heat tools on curly/kinky extensions is not recommended!
There are different types of hair extensions and some can cause damage, like the more permanent types of extensions (pre-bonded, heat fusion, skin weft, micro-link or micro-bead hair, etc). Clip-in extensions and tape-in extensions, on the other hand, are perfectly safe: the clip-ins are temporary and do no harm when applied and taken out each day, and tape-ins use medicinal glue when added which is safe for your hair.

Delivery & Shipping

Normally, shipping will take about 4-7 working days from Newtimes Hair warehouse to your doorstep.
Typically, we will use FedEx to make the shipment. If you prefer other express services like DHL, UPS, EMS, etc., please kindly ask our customer service or sales representatives for help.

Customs is a governmental agency responsible for regulating the shipments entering a specific country or region. All shipments being sent to or from a region must clear customs first. It is the responsibility of the buyer of record to pay the duty.
If your package has not been shipped yet, please reach out to our customer service or sales team promptly to update your shipping address. If the package is already on its way, we can assist you in requesting a reroute for orders shipped through FedEx or UPS. Please note that once the reroute is processed, additional fees may apply.

Return & Exchange

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your selections, Treseva Hair gladly accepts returns and free exchanges on stock orders that are unaltered, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in their original packaging within 60 days of purchase. Custom orders, however, are not eligible for return or exchange. Any issues with custom hair extensions that are our responsibility can be repaired, remade, or refunded, provided we receive your return within three months of the shipment date.
Within three months of shipment, if there are any manufacturing errors, defects, or quality issues, we will remake or repair the product free of charge or provide a refund upon receiving the returned item, according to your request. This policy applies to all hairpieces from Treseva Hair. If your order exceeds the return window, we recommend inspecting your merchandise immediately upon receipt and contacting us promptly for any quality concerns to arrange a return or refund.
For product quality issues or errors caused by Treseva Hair, Treseva Hair will cover the shipping costs. However, if the return is due to personal preference or dislike of the product, you will be responsible for the shipping expenses.
For stock items that are unaltered, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in their original packaging within 30 days of the purchase date, please follow the steps below to complete a successful return: Step 1: Submit a return request via DM or email, including your order number, detailed reason for the return, and photos of any damage if applicable. Step 2: Our customer service or sales team will review and approve your request, then provide you with the return shipping address. Step 3: All returned items will be inspected upon receipt to determine if they meet the return criteria. *Note: Returns will not be accepted for custom orders, stock items that have been altered, worn, washed, damaged, or are not in their original packaging. Step 4: Once your return is approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.
Once your return qualifies, we will process a refund to your original payment account within 3-5 business days.
